Ha Giang Loop Tour Day 1

Ha Giang to Du Gia via 

Cat Ly to Nha Hang Duc

Towards Nha Hang Duc

The weather was very cloudy with light drizzle. As we drove higher, we drove into cloud and visibility was obscured. Many of the scenic areas were not visible.  We had a sumptuous lunch at Nha Hang Duc.

After lunch we continued to Lung Tam, then heading east on DT181 to Du Gia.

From Lung Tam, we drove through mountainous area and this area is inhabited by ethnic Hmong people. Their dressing is quite distinct from the Viets.

Along these mountainous roads around Lang Khac, there are some beautiful sights.

Driving towards Lung Ho, pass by a scenic spot, Nam Lang, listed as Unesco site.

The final itinerary was the Du Gia Waterfall 

We stayed at a Homestay in Du Gia Village. Accommodation was spartan and we had Steamboat dinners with our tour group and drivers.

Singapore to Hanoi to Ha Giang

We boarded SQ192 for 3 hours  flight to Hanoi on A350-9

From the airport, the bus fetched us for the 5 hours journey to Ha Giang.

Tomorrow morning, we are joining a 4 days private tour "Ha Giang Loop"

Ha Giang is located north Vietnam, close to the Chinese border.
