Canada Day 7, Sept 2022

4th Oct 2022

Day 7

Vancouver Island

Ucluelet, a town in the SW of Vancouver Island known for the rugged nature. The Wild Pacific Trail is also in this peninsula.

In the morning, I took a stroll along the pier and enjoyed the beautiful sights.

We embarked on the Wild Pacific Trail. The sceneries were breathtaking.

This was really a wonderful walk.

More views along the coast and observed some marine life

The forest had unique shaped trees, some mini bonsai as well as mosses growing on tress branches.

After this wonderful walk, we drove to Stamp River. The driving route was scenic.

At Stamp River Provincial Park, we witnessed the upstream migration of salmons, grueling and often fatal journey to return to their spawning habitat, Great Central Lake. Truly amazing how nature procreate.

One more stop at Little Mountain Lookout before heading back.
