I had an unused staff previleged ticket so I asked Ying to follow me on a flight to Beijing. In Beijing we visited the Forbidden City and the Heavenly Palace. It was also the coldest winter Ying has ever experienced with temperature of minus 14C. With strong wind, the chill factor added, it far more colder.

It was our last day of our long vacation in New Zealand. In the morning, we visited New Zealand botanical Garden. It was a very beautiful garden.
The next day, we flew home.

It had been more than 2 weeks on the road and we had seen and enjoyed a lot. Today we drove to Christchurch City. It was a short one hour drive and spending some times walking the streets of Christchurch.
In the afternoon. we visited Christchurch Antarctic Centre. It is kind of entertainment and educational place to showcase Antarctica. Artificial snows were used.
