The train left Gemas punctually for Ipoh at 0805 and arrive Ipoh. Went for lunch at famous Restaurant that served satay, hor fan, beef noodle and finished with caramel cake and Ipoh white coffee. I stayed in the New Caspian Hotel.
Walk around Ipoh Town, had dinner of famous Ipoh bean sprout chicken at Lau Wong Restaurant.
After dinner of famous Ipoh Bean sprout chicken, I walked to Ipoh Old Town and also walked along Concubine Street.
And night walk along Kinta River.

This is a ten days discovery tour of Perak, covering most the the major towns in Perak as well as driving along the coastal area to see some fishing villages and beaches of Perak
I started the journey from JB Central. The train left the platform at 2.40 pm and arrived at Gemas Station at 7pm. It was a very pleasant journey riding through Johore, mainly oil palm plantations.
I stayed at Hotel Tropicana, five minutes walk from the train station.
My elder daughter, Hui Ying is married to Ken Chai on 8th July 2023.
It’s with great happiness and also a tint of relief that my parental duty is accomplished.
