Vietnam Ha Giang to Hanoi Feb 25

28th Feb 2025

Ha Giang to Hanoi.

The journey took almost 7 hours to the Old Quarter of Hanoi in a comfortable limousine bus. Weather was mainly cloudy with rain. We stayed in Madalise Grand Hotel for 1 night.

For the remaining afternoon, we walked around Hoan Kiem Lake

From the lake, we walked through Hanoi Old Quarters. This place was choked with both vehicle and human traffic. It was amazing no human were ran down by vehicles.

For dinner we had popular Vietnamese Pho. Lunch was Bahn Mi.

We stayed in Madalise Grand Hotel in the Old Quarter.

Tomorrow morning we head to Pu Luong. Another 4 hours bus ride.

Ha Giang Loop Tour Day 4

What a relief, there were no rain this morning. I was able to walk in this ethnic Black Dao Village of Nam Dam. Almost all the houses double as Homestays.

We set off after breakfast to visit Lung Khuy Cave. It was a strenuous 2 km walking uphill to the cave entrance. The surrounding farms belongs to the Hmongs.

From the cave we drove to Tam Son in Quan Ba district for lunch. Most tourists stopped here to eat too. The restaurant were really crowded with motocycle riders.

After lunch we began our journey back to Ha Giang. Not far from Tam Son is a viewpoint that give a awesome view of Quan Ba.

Our next viewpoint was obscured by passing cloud and so we continued the journey. Along the route,  we stopped by a farm in Bac Sum Village. From the viewpoint,

We arrived at Ha Giang and walked through the town.

The 4 day Ha Giang Loop Tour ended at Infinity Homestay where we rested for a night and will get into a Hanoi bound bus next morning. It was also time to bid farewell to our awesome driver/ tour guide who kept us entertained throughout the four days as well as ensuring our needs and safety were well taken off.
