Ha Giang Loop Tour Day 3

Route: Dong Van -China Border - Yen Min - Quan Ba

We drove through Dong Van city and stopped briefly at Dong Van Old Town. Part of the structure we're built by the French

Next itinerary was the border between Vietnam and China. It was a wet morning and visibility was poor at times. We viewed many beautiful valleys as the car snaked through the mountains.

Northern Vietnam is very mountainous. The low morning cloud brought rain and poor visibility as it drifted  across the mountains.

We arrived at Lung Cu, Diem Dau Cac Bac, the most northern point of Vietnam. On adjacent mountain side is China.

Views of China from this monument.

Next stop at Lung Cu Flag Point. We walked 500 steps to reach this 30 metres monument.

Driving out of Lung Cu, the weather improved and the surrounding mountain peaks are spectacular.

From Lung Cu, we continued to Yen Minh. Along the route, we stopped at two landmarks. Bai Da Mat Trang or Moonstone Beach in Sa Phin is an eroded limestone terrain.

Tham Ma Slope

Tham Ma Slope is a popular photo stop where local rented out costumes with wild flowers.

We had lunch in Yen Minh

After lunch,  we continued our drive to Quan Ba, passing through many small towns.
