Pu Luong Day 4
Pu Luong to Ninh Binh-Tam Coc
The early morning walk to Bang Village was a walk back to my past. Recollecting my childhood in the 60s living in kampong.
Reminiscing walking through narrow roads, muddy and slippery stones embedded footpaths. On miss step, and you slip.
And the dogs barking, chickens running everywhere, seeing villagers stacking firewood untidyly around the thatched houses on stilts, bring back fond memories of the neighbourhood I grew up.
The planting season has just begun. Some plots has been planted, some were just ploughed.
As this village lies on hilly region, most crops are cultivated on terraces. This backdrop makes this place so alluring and scenic, attracting hoards to tourist to Pu Luong where many resorts sprang up.
It's hard not to be awe by the stunning beauty of the rice terraces. Could not resist the urge to take the photo again. This the view of Don Village
Its time to bid farewell to our friendly and caring hosts, Thuan and Nhi of Gateway Inn.
We took the afternoon bus to our next destination Tam Coc in Ninh Binh. It was a 3 hours ride and stayed in Moon Lady Farmstay.
At night we had a sumptuous dinner of roast duck.
