Kuala Trengganu

This is the first time I had set foot in this very ancient Trengganu City. There are lot of history in this place.
Briefly, Trengganu was on the trade route since ancient times and Chinese merchants had been prying there since 6 AD. Initially a Hindu Buddhist state and then become the first Malay state to adopt Islam. Trengganu has been under Siamese control before the British took over. There is Trengganu State Museum which is the largest museum in Malaysia.
There is a Chinatown in Kuala Trengganu with a temple dating back more than 200 years. Even have a Hainanese Association.
