Shilin (Stone Forest) took 270 million years to create. The giant limestone pillars and unique rock formations were carved by rain, wind and seismic activity and spans over a three hundred sq km. Some of these are up to 130 ft tall.
Jiuxiang Cave is the largest cave group in China with
over a hundred karst caves with the most beautiful in-cave scenes in China.
Unfortunately, the karst caves are lit with unnatural colour which may not
appeal to some visitors a it lost the natural feel.
