Arrived Yinchuan airport at around 11 in the morning.
After lunch, we proceed to Yellow River Grand Canyon. We took a boat cruise. The ride was pretty bumpy due the river current and strong winds. The weather was hot.
Along the river, was a memorial that pays tribute to King Yu, who managed to tame Yellow River by commanding his subjects with good leadership and ingenuity by diverting water to reduce and prevent fatal flooding along the Yellow River.
Another major historical site is the Buddhist temple name 108 Pagodas (directly translated)
We drove south to Zhongwei city and stayed at the city centre. Had local food for dinner before retiring for the night.
The traditional Drum tower of Zhongwei.
