Today, we will be embarking on a 10 days trip to Laos, the last SE Asian countries we have yet to put our feet on.
We will be flying on Silk Air to Vientiane, capital of present day Laos. It will be 2 nights there, mainly touring the city and viewing the historical sites and watching the Mekong River. We are staying at Riverside Palace Hotel.
From Vientiane we proceed to Vang Vieng for nature and adventure tour. We intend to trek through some limestone caves and will also be taking a 3 hours float down the Nam Song River on rubber tubes call "Tubing". The tubing will give us a chance to view the beautiful landscape along this river. We stay here for 3 nights.
Our final destination is Luang Prabang, the ancient capital of the Khmer dynasty. Here we will be doing Mekong river cruise, viewing the beautiful Kuang Si Water, visiting a couple of temples in caves and also enjoy the historical sights of Luang Prabang. Our stay in LP will be four relaxing days.
