Jesselton Ferry Centre is where boats provide services to the outlying island of KK.
I bought ticket for Sapi Island an Manukan Island. These are the most popular sea spots for tourist in KK. The boat ride take about 20 minutes to Sapi. This island is famous for its sandy white beach with crystal clear water where many corals exist. Snorkeling is popular here.
The bulk of the tourists are young Chinese and Korean groups. My observation is most of the younger females are obsessed with photos taking. Many just spend hours on the beach in front of their smartphones
Manukan Island is equally charming. There are many visitors too. I also took a 3 km trek to the western portion of the island.
Though the beach are charming, but the strong waves make swimming not to comfortable. Snorkeling in the crystal clear water looking at coral fishes seem tempting but I did not find sufficient time to have a go.
Today dinner was at seafood centre under large tents at Todak Waterfront. Hawkers displayed wide varieties of fishes, prawns, crabs, snails and lobsters. Food are self selection, weighed and cooked. There are so many stores that diners are spoilt for choice.
My choice tonight was 1 kg of crab and a vegetable. I have take away so I can eat the crabs with my hands in the comfort of my room. The cost is RM38. That is really CnG.
