It was a very early start at 4.30 a.m. We pulled out luggage through the city to the Bus Terminal where. Here we boarded an airport express bus to Helsinki Airport for our flight on Norwegian Air B737 to Bergen via Oslo.
From Oslo Airport, we took the Light Rail to Bergen City Centre. We planned to stayed 2 nights at Best West Hotel Hordaheimen.
Bergen is a city on the western coast of Norway. It was once the biggest city in Norway until overtaken by Oslo. But many historical areas remained. Today Bergen's old quayside, Bryggen is on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites.
Although the Bergen is pleasant and neat and lot of tourists, but there are not many impressive sites in this city. Many Seafood restaurants and bars line the quayside of Bryggen. Looks like seafood are the tourists favourite but I must say it is not value for money.
