HA LONG Bay 

Ha Long Bay was the main highlight of this Vietnam tour. Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Quang Ninh Province. There were numerous tourist junks at the jetty.

 

                                     

The junk boat tour first stop was Dau Go Island to see the Thien Cung Cave. We climb numerous steps to get into this big cave.

We had lunch on board. The food was prepared on the junk.

The weather today was rather misty and the sight was not as good as on posters.

Ha Long Bay is a very large area known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands and karsts topped by rainforests.
