Singapore to Chongqing

This is a 10 days tour of Tibet and western province of Qinghai. Part of the tour experience was a 24 hours high altitude train ride from Xining to Lhasa. The train's cabin was supplied with oxygen for high altitude. The main highlights are tour of Tibet interesting places like the Potala Palace in Lhasa.

                                   

 

We arrived in Chongqing and had a short tour of Chongqing. We stayed at Chongqing Hongyadong Hotel. It’s very close to the city centre and with view of Yangtze River. There are many traditional timber homes built into the rock face.

After lunch, we toured the People’s square where the Great Hall of the People stands majestically. We went  to the Three Gorges Dam Museum nearby.
