Parit Buntar-Tg Piandang-Taiping-Teluk Intan
Parit Buntar was just like any Malaysian towns with terraced shop houses. There are plenty of eateries.
Today first itinerary is Tanjung Piandang. The main industry here, to be expected is related to fisheries.
From Tg Piandang we drove west towards the river mouth of Sungai Tg. Piandang where there are many fishing boats and a large fish processing plant.
Driving south along the Perak coast is sea on one side and rice (padi) field on the others.

We reached Ban Pecah.
We continue to drive south along the Perak coast to Kuala Gula, a fishing village predominantly populated by Malays. .But within the Malay town, there were Chinese owned fisheries related business. There is a big fish processing factory, Hoe Kee Chan trading. There is also a large Chinese temple and Chinese school in this village

We stopped at Taiping for lunch of roast duck. After lunch,I spent some time enjoying the beautiful Taiping Lake and the awesome rain trees.
