Preface
The last time we had a family vacation was in Feb 2011, almost 13 years on a trip to Hongkong and Macao. That was just before their graduation from Unis.
This time it is four plus one granddaughter on this driving holiday in West Austria. The trip starts from Munich,
Our route will start from Munich airport 13th August. And over the next 12 days. it should be a very scenic drive around the Austrian Alps, starting from Munich to Salzburg, Hallstadt, Werfen, Globglockner Mountain, Zell am See, Zillertal, Kufstein, Innsbruck and the cross German border to Neuschwanstein Castle and back to Munich. In Munich we spent 2 nights there without the car.
