Werfen
We left this memorable farmhouse for Werfen. The first itinerary is walking on a trail based on the old classic "Sound of Music"
The trail is narrow and steep at some point and there is place for rest.
The pebble trail ended and it's refreshing to see the lush green grass over the gentle hill.
And the friendly cows
Our next itinerary was Burg HoHohenwerfen. It's an 11th century medieval rock castle. Look very elegant from afar, but the interior is not so impressive. It was overcrowded and we left after an hour.
View from the castle top and from the funicular on its way down.
In the afternoon we tour Zell am See (lake)
This lake is charming and beautiful and the town is overcrowded with tourists. We didn't have time to walk in the town.
Amber had a great time at the lake side playing with water and feeding ducks.
Tonight we stayed at a traditional Austrian hotel, Hotel Gasthof Post in Bruck, 12 km south of Zell.
