Day 6

We had a hearty breakfast with a wide spread of delicious European food.

Today plan was a driving tour of about 5 hours. We started at 9 am and the weather was good.

We drove on the scenic Globglockner High Alpine Road over the Austrian Alps via Route 107 and 108.

At this time of the year, the mountains are covered with lush green vegetation. However the mountains top are still covered with some ice. During the ascent, we stopped to capture some panoramic landscapes. 

There were wild flowers everywhere. Great fund plucking them.

We stop at Edelweiss Peak, 2570m to enjoy the Austrian Alps. It was cold and windy up here. Globglockner is the highest at 3798m, not accessible by car.

On the descent, we stopped by Hof Village.

Further down the road was Jungfernsprung-waterfall. Hardly any water this time.

That's the end of  Globglockner Alphine drive. We continue our drive to Dolsach-Lienz and stopped at Mittersill town  Here we had picnic lunch at Mittersill Lake Ziertiech near town square

Play time for Amber and duck feeding.

Ying drove to Zillertal and there was light rain. The sscenery along the route is beautiful. 

We stayed in Ferienhof Kampfl in a small town Fugan, north of Zillertal.
