Day 10
Munich
Car was returned and we had breakfast in Munich Airport.
We had booked an apartment near Central Station (Kaupbanhof) in Munich. As check in time was 3 pm, we burnt some time in the airport.
We took the the S1 train to Central, dragged our baggage for 10 min to the apartment along Schillerstrabe.
The neighbourhood dominated by Middle Eastern eateries as well as people.
The last 9 days of travelling has been very hectic and mentally taxing especially driving in a foreign country. The roads in Austria were winding and narrow, going uphill and downhill, through numerous tunnels and bridges. We deserved a much needed rest.
