Farmington
After
Farmington we drove all the way to Mount Desert Island where the Arcadia
National Park is located. On the island, we drove pass Bar Harbor and drove to
the hill top which is Mount Cadillac and had a spectacular view of the surrounding area.
This island
was populated by Native Indian 5000 years ago. Then the French followed by the
British came to colonize this place. Many rich American built their houses
here. Lobster catching is the centuries old industry here. Today tourism
thrives on this charming and picturesque island.

We stayed in Ellsworth Primavera Inn and had dinner in town.
