Cango Caves and Oudtshoorn Ostrich Farm

The driving route today was from town of Knysna to Cango Caves. First half of the drive was westerly along the Garden Route toward the town of George, Thereafter drove northward through mountainous terrain towards Oudtshoorn and  Cango.  We stopped at a lookout Point to enjoy the mountain view.

Near Oudtshoorn, we passed by big ostrich farms and could not resist the urge to have a closer look.  Standing outside the fence,  the Ostriches were attracted and to our  surprise, they ran towards us. It was a wonderful and refreshing encounter.  It was a memorable experience seeing large flock of ostriches so close to us.

                                            

A short drive north of Oudtshoorn, we arrived at Cango Cave, Like any caves, they all seem the same, plentiful of stalagmites and stalactites.  

 We drove back to Oudtshoorn and stayed in Langhaven B & B for the next 2 nights.
