NEW ZEALAND
SOUTH ISLAND
Day 12
30 Nov 1999
It was a
long drive from Queenstown to Milford Sound. But the route was scenic and serene.
The South Island is endowed with natural beauty.
In Milford Sound, we took a cruise to view the beautiful sound; the torqoise and bluish water was calm reflecting light like a mirror. It was surrounded by steep mountains and elegant waterfall.
The waterfalls and the rainbow.
The roads
on the South Island are narrow and winding, cutting through valleys and mountains.
