BIRTHDAY/ RETIREMENT CELEBRATION MAY 2016

SQ 62 MOSCOW HOUSTON MOSCOW 

1ST to 13th  May 2016

I was on a 10 days flying duty from Singapore to Moscow to Houston and return. This flight has become one of my most special and memorable flight in my flying career.

On the 4^th May layover in Moscow, my B777 crew planned my 62^nd Birthday in our Moscow Hotel. All my 18 cabin crew as well as my co-captain, Capt. Laurence Lai and First Officer Wen was there to mark my 62^nd Birthday and official retirement.  But I continued with SQ for another 2 years on yearly contract. I was very grateful for the crew to organise this gathering to celebrate this  significant milestone of my life.

                                           

                                            

                                             

                                               

                                               

On birthday 7th May, I was actually up in the air, operating from Houston to Moscow.

On return to Singapore on the 10^th May, I was met at the gate with Capt Ian Cheng to present my retirement plague. 

PHUKET 

10th to 13th May to celebrate my Retirement

That same morning after landing in Singapore, together with Lynn, we flew to Phuket to celebrate my retirement. We plan to eat, massage, shop and walk around the beach during our 4 days stay in Phuket.

In Phuket, we stayed at a beautiful Patong Heritage Hotel.

For dinner we went to this seafood market cum restaurant. We bought our seafood  and brought them to the stall for cooking to our preferred style.
