Day 11
Quy Nhon
Quy Nhon is pronounced "kwee nearn" It's a Provincial city with a population of half a million. Not many people heard of city.
The drive last night from the bus station to the city centre went through busy and narrow roads clogged with pedestrians, motorcycles and cars with shops on lower level in 2 to 3 storeys terrace houses.
As the car enter the city, the roads widen and the bright lightning transformed this place into a modern city.
I took a walk in the city centre and I feel this place resembles tge Champ-Elysees in Paris. The very wide boulevard flanked on both sides by wide walkway with parks people can relax and children can play.
Notably, I saw for the first time a digital clock tower at a buy roundabout.
The road dividers are lined with palm tree.
There was a small lakes where it looks like our Singapore River and revellers sat for drinks.
Morning walk around Quy Nhon. I started the walk at around 6.30am. The sunrise was 5.30 here.
I saw both the old and new town, just like the difference between South Bride Road and Shenton way.
There's also a harbour front overlooking the lagoon. Not busy at all, only one catamaran at the jetty.
