Day 4
Dalat Day Tour
Today tour operator picked me up at 4 am in the morning to watch sunrise from Cau Dat Mountain in Dalat. We drove to San May Viewpoint and the place was already packed with local travellers.
Cau Lat Mountain Viewpoint is a popular place to view sunrise and view the sea of cloud. The air was cool and the sunrise was breathtaking. Surrounding the hills are massive tea and coffee plantations as well as greenhouses growing flowers.
After breakfast at the hilltop. We drove to a strawberry farm. They grow it in greenhouses, planted on long trays adopting modern farming technology.
Our next stop was the Linh Phuoc Pagoda and Temple also know as "junkyard Temple" as the decor and exterior were built using broken glass, mosaic and pottery shards. It's an amazing pagoda with intricate design. Even the roof ceiling are painted with murals.
Dalat City Flower Park. Its a picturesque garden with vibrant and colourful collection of flowers grown on flower beds in well designed manicured landscape.
It rained in the late afternoon and decided not to walk around the lake.
