Day 12
21 Dec 2023
Nha Trang
After many days of travelling in less developed part of Vietnam, I arrived in a bigger city and stayed at a better hotel. I had a good buffet breakfast on the 17th floor of Venue Hotel. While I had my coffee, I had a panoramic view of Nha Trang.
Today I will be visiting various tourist sites within the city using Grab taxi. I used itineraries of a tour company as a reference and guide.
Hon Chong Beach was my first stop. This place is swarmed with Chinese and Korean. Patience was very much needed here to take a photo from favourite spot. I felt like I was in China.
Po Nagar Temple is a Cham era Hindu Temple built around 780AD. There were so many Koreans tourists at this site.
Nha Trang Cathedral or Nha Tho Nui is a Roman Catholic found by French Missionary in 1886 but the present Church was built in 1928
Thap Tram Huong Tower is an iconic landmark monument in Nha Trang, with unique architecture.
Having beef pho for lunch followed by local coffee at a cafeteria.
