Day 5
Today we followed the Pacific Marine Circle Route.
First stop was River Jordan on the SW coast of Vancouver Island.
Further west is a nature park named Juan de Fuca Provincial Park. We spent our morning there. This park includes the coast as well as a forest.
It was a magnificent nature walk along the coast, There were many marine life.
The rock formation are spectacular.
While walking inland we trekked in cooling and tranquil pine forest, Large roots grow over the tracks and the terrain was undulating. There were plenty of giants trees, some with unique shapes and the flora and undergrowth were also flourishing.
On the higher ground, there were many scenic spots overlooking the strait.
After the enjoyable trek, we drove to Port Renfrew
Our last destination was Lake Cowichan. The town has the same name too. I took some photo along the shore of this long lake.
We drove back via Duncan Village but did not make any stop along the way as a tiring da
