EASTERN EUROPE OCT 2013 D1 VIENNA

The train ride from Budapest Keleti Station to Vienna Meidling took about 2 and half hours and arrived at Vienna around noon. We are very familiar with train stations, platforms and boarding procedures.

The route was scenic through Hungary and Austria.

We stayed at Hotel Ramada Vienna for two nights. It was walking distance from train station

Vienna is the capital of Austria, a wealthy country with very rich history. The city is endowed with numerous majestic and beautiful palaces, monuments, museums and  gardens.

We took mass transit and started the city walk from Karhsplatz where we viewed many points of interests in Wien.
