Munich
23 Oct 2013
This was
the last leg of the train rides, from Vienna to Munich. Our original plan was to spend
a night in Salburg but due to time constrain, we headed back to Munich. The train
departed Wien Westbahnhof for Munchen Hbf in the late morning.
The train journey was over 4 hours, took us through picturesque landscape of western Austria and Southern Germany.
After
checking into hotel, it was in the late afternoon, we walked around Marienplatz main square, the heart of the city of Munich.
Towards Odeonplatz
We
went to Munich Englischen Garten
(English Garden) or like an English botanical garden. The park is massive that stretches
up to 5 km in length. But we didn’t have the time to walk the entire park.
Schnitzel for
dinner.
The next morning, was our departure for home. We took train from Central Station to Munich Airport. From there, we boarded the SIA B777ER flight for a direct flight to Singapore.
