Prague
Our train
seats to Prague were CL 2. It was a cabin with 6 seats. We were fortunate as we
were the only occupants and had the privacy and comfort of the whole cabin. It
was comfortable 6 hours journey.
The train
went through Germany and Czech Republic which are very picturesque countries.
Some of the views were indeed awesome and amazing. Viewing the scenic East
European autumn foliage was so relaxing.
We arrived at Prague Hlavni Nadrazi Station late in the afternoon. The weather was good and the temperature in the mid teens. We went to the main concourse to buy train tickets for our next itinerary Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. We stayed at Republic Hotel, within short walking distance from the station.
We had two full days of city tours and truly agreed that Prague is one of the most beautiful city in the world
Views from Prague Castle
We took a river cruise (PRAGUE BOAT) on River Vltava. Dinner was served on board. The night sceneries were spectacular and the numerous bridges were grand and elegant.
The city is
easily assessable on foot and trams. Below is the popular tourist spot. Charles Bridge and its elaborate sculptures.
With clear sky and pleasant weather, walking around Prague, viewing all the historical landmarks were really enjoyable.
