Grand Canyon Day 1

We left Las Vegas Harrah's early in the morning for 5 hours long drive to Grand Canyon Southern Rim. We book a night at Grand Canyon Inn, about 15 minute south of the GC Village.

After checking in, we drove to GC village and walked to Mather Point, the nearest view point from the Village. As it was almost 4 p.m. We just hanged around and enjoyed the grand view of GC, At the same time also try to appreciate the bus system that transport tourist around the rim of the southern GC.

The time was great. We watched the sunset over the Canyon

We were even more fortunate to watch moonrise just after sunset.
