It was late in the afternoon when we arrived
from Beijing. The local tour guide met us and her name is Amar. She was our guide for Xinjiang for the next 7 days, travelled nearly 2000 km on bus.
She showed us around the city centre and the International Grand Bazaar.

Today sole
itinerary was the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Museum. It houses over
40,000 items. One of the famous artifacts is a mummy from Loulan “Beauty of
Loulan” She is believed to be dated back to 1800BC.

lunch, the bus headed for Kuitun, about 3 hours journey.
