TURPAN TO HAMI

The bus
journey was over 9 hours with a distance of 540 km through Gobi Desert with
Tianshan in the north and east. Occasionally the bus drove through patches of
green area with trees and grass and small streams.
Greener
landscape
Most of the
photo was taken from the bus or when the driver took a break. There are no
public toilet and nature call was behind shrubs.
Our only itinerary today was visiting the Balikun White Stone Grassland
(Bali Kuncaoyuan) which is north of Hami.
Enroute to
Hami, the route was scenic.
We stayed the night in Hami town, bought some fruit from the market
