Day 1-HENAN SHANDONG TOUR

This was a
Dynasty Tour that combined culture, history, nature and Chinese flora during
springtime in China. A large portion of the tour was dedicated to the flowers in
China.
Henan
province is considered the cradle of Chinese civilization. Yellow River flows
through this province, providing water for people and agriculture as well as a
means of transport. The fertile soil and abundance of rain support a large
population. Henan has rich historic heritage and numerous treasures and the
remains of some of the earliest human settlements have been unearthed here. All
these cultural remains have profound significance in the history of Chinese civilization.
We started
on 9 April 2015 and returned on 19 April. The flight to Zhengzhou transited in
Shanghai on China Eastern. The tour started from Zhengzhou and the tour route
was
Zhengzhou,
Luoyang, Denfeng, Kaifeng, Heze, Tai’an, Jinan, Weifeng, Penglai, Yantai and
Qingdao.

APR THURSDAY Weifang - Penglai
- Yantai (About 4 Hrs)

Visit Penglai Pavilion Tourist Area. (It has long
been
known as “Fairyland on Earth”, the place of
origin
of powerful elixirs and the home of
immortals
including “Emperor Qin Shi Huang
looked
for the elixir of life” and “Eight Immortals
Crossing
the Sea”.)

Drive to Yantai, located in the east of Shandong Peninsular.

Along the way of Laiyang enjoy pear blossom (flowers bloom around end of
March to early April)
• Visit the famous Zhangyu Wine Museum (brewed mellow wine tasting)

Qingdao (About 3.5 Hrs)

Donghai Road (The most beautiful road in Qingdao)

Seafood Market, you may wish to select some seafood to add on to your meal

18 APR SATURDAY Qingdao

“Shimei Buddhist Convent” named as the hometown of Plum Blossom (the
largest plum garden at the north of Yangtze River) (flowers bloom

Badaguan Scenic Area (famous for its gardens and roads named with eight
passes)
•
Xiaoyushan Park
•
Zhongshan Park to view Cherry Blossom (flowers bloom around early April to
early May)

SINGAPORE (Transit Flight)
• Free at leisure till time of transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore
