We shifted
to Bagan old city in the late morning and stayed in Royal Bagan Hotel.
We took a
horse cart ride to Mani Sithu Market. The ride was uncomfortable but an
experience.
This is a traditional Myanmar market where goods were displayed in stalls. It was vibrant and almost every household necessities and food are available.
After the
market walk, we took a horse ride to Shwezigon Pagoda
Shwezigon
Pagoda is one of the oldest and most impressive monuments of Bagan with the
most noticeable gold plated pagoda. Several shrines and temple were added since
the construction of the stupa in 1090.
