Lake Cumo
We took the
regional train to Cumo that rode through picturesque autumn country side. Lake
Cumo is an upscale resort area known for its stunning scenery, set against the
foothills of the Italian Alps. It has an inverted “Y” shaped with dozen of
villages along the shoreline. Among them the most beautiful village is
Bellagio. There is a regular ferry service that plies on this lake and that was
how we enjoyed the lake cruise.

It was an hour cruise on this ferry and many breath taking views of the lake and villages
Stop over at Bellagio. It is famous worldwide for its beautiful villas, elegant buildings and terraced garden with lake views as well as the charming narrow cobbled stone alleys on slopes, full of shops, boutiques and restaurants.
