Zagreb

We had half a day to see Zagreb. Zagreb is the capital of Croatia along the Sava River. Its rich history dated back to the Roman times.

The morning tour included the following landmarks.

St Mark's Square and Church 




Parliament House 

Tkalciceva Street is the most vibrant street in Zagreb filled with small boutiques, traditional shops, restaurants and cafes.





Strossmayer Promenade. This is the best place for panoramic views of Zagreb. It is one of the most romantic promenades in Zagreb, also known as Zagreb Stross.

Around Zagreb













We bid farewell to Zagreb and with our fellow tour group members at Zagreb Airport. We flew to Rome for our own vacation in Italy.
