Sarajevo to Zagreb

Sarajevo was the biggest and most important Ottoman city in the Balkans and today it is the political and financial centre of Bosnia. Bosnia today remains a white Muslim country. Sarajevo is also remembered as the place where the First World War started. Of course, the recent conflict between Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia is still fresh in many people memory. One of the tour itineraries is a visit to the Sarajevo War Tunnel.

Bascarsija is the city old bazaar and the historical and cultural centre of the city built ibn the 15th century.








Gazi Husrev-beg’s Mosque was built in the 16th century and a legacy of the Muslim Ottoman Empire

 After lunch, the tour group headed for a long drive to Zagreb.  It was a 5 hours journey.
