Opatija to Zadar
Opatija is
a charming Croatian coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. We did not have time to
enjoy this city. We left early in the morning and drove straight to Plitvice
National Park, to see this UNESCO site.

Lakes National Park
The waters
flowing over the limestone and chalk have over thousands of years, deposited
travertine barriers, creating natural dames which in turn have created a series
of beautiful lakes, cave and waterfalls. The geological processes continue
