The iconic
Leaning Tower of Pisa, a cylindrical white marble bell tower built in 1372 was
already leaning when building was completed.

We took a
train back to Florence, collected our luggage from the concierge and headed for the main railway
station and caught the evening train to Milan. It was almost 3 hours train
journey.
In Milan, we stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Giardina, short walk from Metro station Piazza Abbiateggrasso-Chieso. Central Milan was easily accessible from here.
